Tish NC turns down keyboard clatter, fan hum and room noise in your microphone. The cleanup runs on your computer, and the people on the call hear your voice.
Typing while you take notes on a call.
The steady hum of a laptop, a cooler or the air conditioning.
Dishes, a TV through the wall, the neighbour's dog.
It stays. It's what the other side should hear.
Results depend on your microphone and surroundings. People talking near you may still be heard.
Work meetings in Zoom, Google Meet and any other app that lets you pick a microphone.
When people nearby type and the equipment hums.
Discord and OBS get a microphone that's already clean.
Tish NC sits between your real microphone and the call. You pick its microphone in the call app, and the rest happens on its own.
Open the DMG and move Tish NC to Applications. On first launch it asks for microphone access.
Pick your microphone and a mode. Auto chooses the processing for your Mac, Quietest removes the most, and Battery saves power on long calls.
In Zoom, Meet or Discord, set Tish Audio as the microphone. Tish NC stays between it and your real mic.
Tish NC sends audio to calls through the Tish Audio driver. If the driver is missing or out of date, the app tells you.
You can also clean up what others send you: set Tish Audio as the speaker in your call app and turn on “Clean up incoming audio” in Tish NC.
Run the installer. The setup guide installs the VB-CABLE virtual microphone that comes with Tish NC. Windows asks for permission and may ask you to restart.
Pick your real microphone. Tish NC cleans its audio on your computer.
In Zoom, Discord or OBS, set CABLE Output as the microphone.
Windows may show a SmartScreen warning when you run the installer: it does not have a publisher certificate yet.
The noise cancellation models ship with the app. Microphone audio is cleaned on your computer and is not sent anywhere. On Mac you can choose the Neural Engine or the CPU.
Tish NC goes online to activate the licence once and to check for updates. These are service requests and carry no audio.
